Dogwood Tree / Cornus Officinalis (shan zhu yu)  山茱萸

Nature: Slightly warm, sour, attributive to kidneys and liver.

Characteristics: The fruit of a large, thorny, deciduous shrub that bears white flowers and purple-red fruits. It is a general drug highly astringent.
