Dang Shen and Beef Soup

 

SYMPTOMS:

Lack of energy and appetite, weak digestion, pale and weak.

THERAPEUTIC EFFECTS:

Improve spleen function and tonify blood, bones and tendons, strengthen qi and improve energy.

INGREDIENTS:  (2 TO 3 SERVINGS)

  • Beef hock - 1000gm
  • Dang shen - 80gm
  • Dried longan fruit - 20gm
  • Ginger - 4 slices

1.   Wash beef and cut into big pieces.

2.    Put beef in boiling water to blanch for a few minutes, retrieve and rinse.

3.    Rinse other ingredients and put all in a soup pot with about 3 liters of water and bring to a boil.
Remove foam, reduce heat and simmer for 3 hours.

4.    Add salt to serve and eat some meat with soup.

USAGE:

Not suitable when having flu or fever.
