Asian Carp Fish & Winter Melon Soup 


Water retention after cancer treatment.


Diuretic and relieving water build up.


  • Asian Carp Fish 鯉魚 -  one whole
  • Winter Melon 冬瓜 - 1 catty
  • Green Onion - 7

1.   Wash fish and towel dry.

2.   Wash green onion and discard the top green part leaving only the white stem and cut into sections.

3.   Wash winter melon, dice and put in a soup pot with enough water to cover them. Bring to a boil and cook over medium heat for 20 minutes.

4.   Pan fried fish with one spoon of oil until both sides are a little brown. Then sprinkle in a spoon of cooking wine and follow by one cup of boiling water. Let it cook for a few minutes and transfer the cooking to the soup pot with the winter melon.

5.   Continue the cooking for another 15 minutes. Add seasoning (salt, pepper, sesame oil, etc.) and green onion to serve.


Eat some content with soup. No restriction.
