Chinese Cornbind Congee


Pale and anemic after cancer treatment.


Invigorates liver and kidney; benefits essence and blood; effective against high blood pressure and hardening of the veins and  arteries; clears away toxic materials


  • Chinese Cornbind (ho shou wu) 何首烏 - 50gm
  • Chinese jujube (da zao) 大棗 - 10
  • Rice- 100 gm

1.   Rinse cornbind and put in a pot with 8 cups of water and cook over medium heat for about 45 minutes.Strain and return the water to the pot.

2.   Rinse dates and rice and add to the pot and cook over medium heat for 30 minutes.

3.   Eat congee only.


No restriction.Take dailly morning and evening. Or cook without rice into a tea for similar effect.
