Gingko & Lily Dessert


Chronic cough.


Sooth lung, clear chronic cough and phlegm.


  • Cloud-ear / Silver-ear mushroom 银耳 – 30gm
  • Gingko 白果(银杏)- 30gm
  • Dried lily 百合 – 10gm
  • Pitted red dates  红枣 - 5
  • Sugar - to taste

1.   Soak mushroom until fully rehydrated (about 20 minutes), rinse clean and separate into smaller pieces.

2.    Break open gingko, cut into halves, put in boiling water for a few minutes to remove membrane and heart if there is any.

3.   Soak lily and dates.

4.    Put all ingredients in a pot with about 300cc of water. Bring to a boil and put in all ingredients. Cook over medium heat for about 30 minutes. Add sugar to taste and serve.


Use regularly for treatment or prevention with no restriction.
