Fresh Chinese Yam, Glenhnia and Pork Congee

SYMPTOMS:

All symptoms of diabetes.

THERAPEUTIC EFFECTS:

Regulate blood sugar, promote blood circulation and digestion.

INGREDIENTS:  

  • Fresh yam 鮮淮山– 160gm
  • Glehnia(bei sha shen) 沙參 – 15gm
  • Lean pork – 100gm
  • Rice – 60gm

1.   Peel and cut yam into small cubes and soak in warm water.

2.   Soak Glehnia for 30 minutes and rinse.

3.   Rinse and cut pork into thin slices.

4.   Rinse rice.

5.   Put about 6 cups of water in a pot and bring to a boil. Put all ingredients in and let it boil for 5 minutes, then reduce heat to medium and let it cook for about 30 minutes into a congee/porridge.

6.   Add salt to serve and eat as meal.

USAGE:  

No restriction.
