Guava Fruit Stir-fry


All symptoms of diabetes.


Regulate blood sugar.


  • Guava Fruit 番石榴 – one to two
  • Goji-berries/Chinese Wolf-berries 枸杞子– a handful
  • Fish fillet/pork/chicken – 160gm
  • Angle Loofa 勝瓜  - one (optional)
  • Snow-ear Mushroom 雪耳 – 30gm (optional)
  • Minced ginger – one spoon
  • Minced garlic – one spoon

1.   Prepare meat and cut it into thin slices and season to taste.

2.   Soak goji-berry and snow-ear mushroom separately for 30 minutes and rinse. Cut out stem of mushroom and separate into smaller pieces.

3.   Wash guava fruit, cut into quarters, remove seeds and cut into slices.

4.   Peel loofah and cut into pieces.

5.   Heat up 2 spoons of oil in a pan/wok, add ginger and garlic and then meat to stir-fry until just cooked and keep aside.

6.   Heat up one spoon of oil and stir-fry the rest of ingredients until cooked and add in seasoning and meat to serve.


Eat with meal with no restriction.   


Use the same ingredients to cook into a soup.
