Mung Bean and Seaweed Desert

SYMPTOMS:

High blood pressure and high cholesterol.

THERAPEUTIC EFFECTS:

Lower blood pressure and cholesterol, detoxify and prevent stoke.

INGREDIENTS:

  • Mung bean 綠豆 – one cup
  • Mandarin Orange /  citrus Peel (chen-pi) 陳皮 – one piece (pre-soaked and with white tissue removed)
  • Seaweed 紫菜 – 15gm
  • Brown sugar – to taste

1.   Rinse beans and put with 4 to 5 cups of water to cook over medium heat for about 30 minutes or until beans are mushy and soft.

2.   Rinse seaweed and add to cooking for another 5 to 10 minutes.

3.    Add sugar to serve.

USAGE:  

Recommended to be taken once a week for milder cases and daily for more severe cases.
