Beef Brisket, Wood-ear Mushroom and Lime Soup

SYMPTOMS:

High cholesterol.

THERAPEUTIC EFFECTS:

Lower cholesterol, enrich blood and clear blood clot.

INGREDIENTS: ( 3 to 4 servings)

  • Beef Brisket 牛腩 – 400gm
  • Wood-ear mushroom 木耳 – 30gm
  • Lime 青檸 – one to get juice
  • Lemon 西檸 – one to get juice

1.   Wash beef brisket and cut into large pieces. Put brisket in boiling water to cook for 5 minutes. Remove and rinse.

2.   Soak wood-ear mushroom until soft and cut into thin stripes.

3.   Put brisket and mushroom in a soup pot with about 15 cups of water and bring to a boil. Remove foam, reduce heat to medium and cook for about 3 hours to brisket is tender and with about 4 to 5 cups of soup.

4.   Add lime and lemon juice to the soup. Add seasoning (salt and pepper) to serve and eat some content with soup.

USAGE:

No limitation. For those people who have acid reflex, skip lime and lemon juice.
