Mulberry Tea

SYMPTOMS:

High cholesterol, high blood pressure and with weak liver syndrome of dry/red eyes and headache.

THERAPEUTIC EFFECTS:

Lower blood pressure and cholesterol, clear liver heat and relieve headache.

INGREDIENTS:

  • Sickle Senna (jue ming zi) 決明子 – 3 gm
  • Mulberry Twig (sang zhi) 桑枝 – 5 gm
  • Chrysanthemum (ju hua) 菊花 – 5 gm
  • Goji-berry / Chinese Wolfberries (gou ji zi) 枸杞子 – 6 gm

1.   Stir-fry sickle senna on dry pan on low heat for a few minutes and remove.

2.   Crumble mulberry twig into smaller pieces. Rinse goji-berry and chrysanthemum flower.

3.   Put all ingredients in a tea pot, add boiling water and let it steeps for 15 minutes and serve.

USAGE:

Take once a day when necessary.
