Mung Bean Sprout and Celery Salad


High cholesterol and high blood pressure.


Lower blood pressure and cholesterol.


  • Mung bean sprout 芽菜 – 120gm
  • Celery 西芹 – 2 stalks

1.   Rinse bean sprout a few times and strain. Put bean sprout in boiling water for just one minute, remove and strain.

2.   Peel celery to remove outer layer, rinse and shred thinly.

3.   Mix the two ingredients and add seasoning (a vinaigrette or sesame oil with a little low sodium soy sauce) to serve.
