Fresh Mushroom & Pork Soup


High blood pressure.


Lower blood pressure, lower blood sugar and prevent cancer.


  • Fresh white mushroom 磨菇– 240gm
  • Pork hip bone 西施骨 – 240gm (chop into pieces)
  • Peanut 花生 – 120gm

1.   Wash pork and put in boiling water to cook for a few minutes, remove and rinse.

2.   Rinse peanuts.

3.   Put pork and peanuts in a soup pot with 8 cups of water. Bring to a boil, remove foam and reduce heat to cook for over one hour until meat are falling off the bone and peanuts are very soft and with about 2 cups of soup.

4.   Take out pork, shred meat from bone and return meat to soup.

5.   Wash mushroom and thinly slice them and add to the cooking for about 10 minutes..

6.   Add seasoning to soup and a little bit of cornstarch to thicken it and serve.
