Wood-ear Mushroom, Eggplant & Pork Soup


High blood pressure.


Lower blood pressure and soften arteries.


  • Wood-ear mushroom 白背木耳– 60gm
  • Egg plant 茄子 - one
  • Lean pork 瘦肉 – 120gm
  • Pitted red dates 紅棗 - 6

1.   Soak wood-ear mushroom until soften (about 30 minutes), remove stem and cut into thin stripes.

2.   Rinse pork and cut into thin slices.

3.   Rinse dates. Cook pork and dates together with about 4 cups of water for 30 minutes.

4.   Rinse egg plant, cut it into thin slices and add to the cooking for 4 to 5 minutes.

5.   Add a bit of salt and vinegar to taste and serve.

6.   Eat all content with soup.


No restriction. Eat often with meal.
