Seven Fruits and Seeds Tea / Soup


Lack of energy due to insomnia.


Improve energy, promote better sleep and improve general health.

INGREDIENTS: (2 to 3 servings)

  • Mulberry seed (sang shen) 桑椹子 – 15gm
  • Magnolia Vine seed (wu wei zi) 五味子 – 15gm
  • Wild Chinese Jujube (suan zao ren) 酸棗仁 – 6gm
  • Longan Fruit / Arillus Longan (long yan rou) 圓肉 – 30gm
  • Raisin 提子乾 – 30gm
  • Lotus Seeds (lien zi) 蓮子 – 30gm
  • Fox Nut (qian shi) 茨實 – 30gm
  • Add Potato 薯仔 for making vegetarian soup – 240 gm
  • Add lean pork f豬肉 or making meat soup  – 360gm

1.   Soak lotus seeds and fox nuts together for one hour.

2.   Rinse other herbs.  Wash and cut other ingredients for soup.

3.   Put all ingredients in a pot with about 10 cups of water. Bring to a boil and reduce heat to cook over medium lot heat for 2 to 3 hours.

4.   Drink tea/soup only.
