Abrus Cantoniensis, Dandelion and Chicken Bone Soup

THERAPEUTIC EFFECTS: 

Calm liver and clear heat, and strengthen liver functions to prevent illnesses.

INGREDIENTS:  

  • Chicken bone – 360gm
  • Abrus Cantoniensis 雞骨草 –  fresh 120gm or dried 30gm
  • Japanese Honeysuckle (jin yin hua) 金銀花 – 30gm
  • Sickle Senna (jue ming zi) 決明子 – 15gm
  • Dandelion (pu gong ying) 蒲公英 – fresh 120gm, dried 30gm.

1.   Wash bones and put in boiling water to cook for a few minutes, remove and rinse.  

2.   Rinse herbs and put all ingredients in a soup pot with about 10 cups of water and bring to a boil. Remove foam and reduce heat to medium and cook for 3 hours to about 2 cups of soup.

3.   Strain and drink soup only.

No restriction.
