Honeysuckle and Gardenia Soup


Pain around the liver, swollen liver, yellowish skin, lack of appetite, vomiting, constipation.


Clear heat and toxic materials, cool blood and stop bleeding, remove blood stasis and alleviate pain.


  • Lean pork - 80gm
  • Japanese honeysuckle (jin yin hua) 金銀花 - 40gm
  • Gardenia jasminoides (shi zi) 梔子 - 20gm
  • Brown sugar - 1 piece
  • Pitted red dates - 6

1.   Wash pork and cut into smaller pieces.

2.   Rinse herbs and put all ingredients in a soup pot with 5 cups of water. Cook over medium heat for one hour to about one cup of soup.

3.   Drink soup only.


Take daily for a few days to see result.
