Dang-gui Mutton Soup

SYMPTOMS:

Blood and qi deficiency after childbirth with wind cold attack resulting in abdominal pain, dizziness and anemia.

THERAPEUTIC EFFECTS:

Expel wind-cold syndrome from abdomen, improve energy and promote blood production.

INGREDIENTS: (2 servings)

  • Angelica Sinensis (dang gui) 當歸 - 40gm
  • Mutton 羊肉 - 320gm
  • Ginger - 80gm

1.   Peel ginger and cut into slices.

2.   Wash mutton, cut into big pieces and put in boiling water to cook for a few minutes, remove and rinse.

3.   Rinse herbs and put all ingredients in a soup pot with about 10 cups of water and bring to a boil. Remove foam and reduce heat to simmer for 2 hours to about 2 cups of soup.

4.   Add salt to serve and eat some meat with soup. 

USAGE:

This recipe is also suitable for treating hernia. Do not take when having flu.
