Lychee, Goji-berries and Pork Hock Soup


Deficiency of blood and qi and lack of energy.


Promote blood to tonify liver, calm the mind, improve energy, and promote longevity.


  • Lychee (fresh or canned) - 10
  • Goji-berries / Chinese wolf-berries (gou ji zi) 枸杞子 - 40gm
  • Pork boneless hock - 240gm

1.  Remove lychee shell and seed.

2.  Wash pork and put in boiling water to boil for about 3 to 5 minutes. Remove and rinse.

3.  Soak and rinse goji-berry. Put all ingredients in a soup pot with about 2 lliters of water. Bring to boil and lower heat to simmer for 2 hours.

4.  Put lychee in and cook for another 5 to 10 minutes.

5.  Add salt to serve.


Suitable for regular use and for the whole family.
