Mung Bean, Honey Suckle Tea




Detoxifying, clear internal heat, improve mental alertness, prevent cold and flu. Most suitable for preventing sickness in spring and summer.


  • Mung bean 綠豆 – 120gm
  • Reed root 蘆根 – 30gm
  • Honey suckle(jin yin hua) 銀花 – 30gm
  • Mint leave 薄荷 – 15gm

1.   Put reed root and honey suckle in a pot with 5 cups of water and cook over medium heat for 30 minutes.

2.   Add mung bean and cook for another 15 minutes to about 1 cup of water left.

3.   Add mint and turn off fire and let it sit for 5 minutes.

4.   Strain and serve tea warm.


Take once or twice a month for prevention.
