Ginkgo, Chrysanthemum and Pear Dessert


Dry and dull skin with increasing wrinkles, poor complexion and discoloring spots.


Moisturize skin and have whitening effect, promote vital fluid and detoxify skin.


  • Organic Milk - one cup
  • Ginkgo seed (ying xing) 銀杏/白果 - 40gm
  • Fresh white chrysanthemum flower 白菊花 - petals from 4 flowers
  • Chinese pear雪梨 - 4
  • Honey - to taste

1.     Crack gingko open with nutcracker, remove shell and put in boiling water for a few minutes. Drain and put in cold water so that the membrane can be removed easily. Cut into halves and remove white or greenish kernel in the middle.

2.     Peel and cut pear into quarters and remove core.  Cut into slices.

3.     Put gingko and pear in a pot with adequate water (about 1.5 liters) and cook over medium heat for 30 minutes.

4.     Rinse chrysanthemum petals and add to the cooking.

5.     Add milk and bring to slow boil.

6.     Add honey to taste and serve.


Not suitable when having loose bowel.
