Black Wood-ear Mushroom and Pork Soup

SYMPTOMS:

Dull skin with black spots appearing, constipated, lack of vital fluid causing dry mouth and always thirsty.

THERAPEUTIC EFFECTS:

Tonify blood and improve circulation, lower internal heat, moisturize skin, improve complexion and discoloring. 

INGREDIENTS:      

  • Black wood-ear mushroom - 30gm
  • Lean pork - 150gm
  • Pitted red date - 8

1.     Soak black wood-ear until soft (about 20 minutes), rinse and shred.

2.     Rinse dates and put with mushroom in a pot with about 3 cups of water, bring to boil and cook over medium heat for 20 minutes.

3.     Wash pork, shred and season (a pinch of sugar, salt, pepper, one spoon of cooking wine, half spoon of corn starch and one spoon of sesame oil ) and add to the soup. Stir and cook until pork is just done, add salt to taste and serve.

USAGE:

Eat with meal. Not suitable when having loose bowel.
