Chicken, Lily and Mushroom Soup


Blood deficiency with white complexion, dry skin with discoloring, restlessness, loosing sleep, high blood pressure.


Promote and harmonize blood, improve circulation and regulate pressure, calming and improve complexion.


  • Chicken breast - 200gm
  • Fresh lily Bulb 鮮百合 - 80gm
  • Fresh Shiitake Mushroom 鮮冬菇 -  4
  • Wood-ear mushroom 木耳 - 40gm
  • Green onion - one (finely chopped)

1.   Soak wood-ear mushroom for about 20 minutes until soft and shred.

2.   Rinse shiitake mushroom and shred.

3.   Rinse lily bulb, cut out stem, seperate petals and soak in water.

4.   Wash chicken and cut into thins pieces. Season chicken to taste (soy sauce, salt, sugar, cooking wine and some starch).

5.   Boil about 3 cups of water in a saucepan and put in wood-ear mushroom to cook for 10 minutes on medium heat. Add shiitake mushroom and chicken and cook for 5 minutes.

6.   Add lily and green onion to cook for a few more minutes.

7.   Add seasoning to serve.


Eat with meal. Not suitable when having cold and fever.
