Fresh Lily, Walnut and Scallop Stir-fry




Improve energy, calm nerve and promote better thinking and memory.


  • Fresh lily bulb 鮮百合 – 2 bulbs
  • Walnut 胡桃肉 – 90 gm
  • Fresh Scallop 鮮帶子 – 6
  • Minced garlic – one tea spoon
  • Minced ginger – one tea spoon
  • Cooking wine – one spoon
  • Seasoning (pepper, salt, corn starch)

1.   Soak walnut for half an hour and put in boiling water to cook for 5 minutes. Retrieve and strain.

2.   Separate lily pedals and rinse clean.

3.   Rinse scallop and cut each horizontally into two. Pad dry and add some seasoning if desire (pepper, salt, a pitch of corn starch and one spoon of sesame oil).

4.   Heat frying pan/wok, add cooking oil and garlic and ginger to cook for a couple of minutes. Add walnut and stir for 5 minutes. Add scallop and stir for a few more minutes. Add lily and stir for 2 minutes. Sprinkle in cooking wine, stir and is ready to serve.
