Fall Soothing Drink


Dry lips and mouth, feel agitated and uneasiness in early fall with dry and cooler weather.


Diluting blood to promote better circulation, promote normal metabolism, and soothe the internal system and benefits spleen.


  • Sugar cane竹薦 - 500gm (chop to short sections with skin)
  • Japanese Honeysuckle (jin yin hua) 銀花 - 40gm
  • Bamboo stem(zhu ru) 竹茹 - 80gm
  • Fresh or Dried Rhizoma Imperatae  (ru root) 茅根 - 30gm
  • Indian Bread (fu ling) 雲茯苓 - 40gm
  • Chrysanthemum flower 白菊花 - 20gm
  • Honey dates 密棗 - 10

 1.   Chop sugar cane into short sections and cut each section into halves lengthwise.

2.   Rinse herbs and put all ingredients in a pot with about 3 litres of water. Bring to boil and cook over medium heat for 2 hours.

3.   Add chrysanthemum to cook for another 30 minutes, strain and serve the tea.
