Leek and Shrimp Soup

SYMPTOMS:  

Deficiency yang syndrome manifested as impotent and cannot stand cold temperature, sore loins and knees, frequent urination and emission. 

THERAPEUTIC EFFECTS:         

Nourish liver and kidney, lift yang energy and warm internal system.

INGREDIENTS: 

  • Fresh shrimp - 150gm
  • Leek - 150gm
  • Cooking wine - one spoon
  • Minced ginger - one spoon
  • Minced garlic - one spoon

1.   Remove shells of shrimp and wash with a little bit of salt and then cornstarch, and rinse clean.

2.   Wash and cut leek into sections.

3.   Warm one spoon of oil in a pan, add minced ginger and garlic and stir for a couple of minutes.

4.   Add shrimp and stir to cook until turning pink.

5.   Add leek to stir and mix in and add one spoon of cooking wine and one cup of water. Bring to a boil, add seasoning to taste and serve.

USAGE:         

Eat regularly with meal. Not suitable for people with excessive heat syndrome.
