Mutton Herbal Soup

SYMPTOMS:  

Kidney yang deficiency due to aging manifested as impotent, emission, frequent urination and sterility, weakness of extremities, cold pain of the waists and knees.

THERAPEUTIC EFFECTS:         

Warm kidney and strengthen yang, strengthen tendons and bones, invigorate kidney and supplement essence.

INGREDIENTS:           

  • Mutton - 150gm
  • Broomrape / Cistanche (rou cong rong) 肉蓯蓉 - 10gm
  • Morinda root (ba ji) 巴戟天 -10gm
  • Goji-berry/Chinese wolfberries (gou ji zi)  枸杞子 - 10gm
  • Ginger - 3 slices
  • Garlic - 2 cloves

Cut mutton in pieces, wash and put in boiling water for a few minutes, remove and rinse. Rinse herbs and put all ingredients in a casserole with adequate hot water. Use the double-boil method to cook for 3 to 4 hours. Add salt to serve.

USAGE:         

Not suitable for people with high blood pressure or having flu or cold.
