Ginseng Pigeon Soup 


Lack of breath, unable to breathe normally after walking or climbing stairs, speaking with low voice, general weakness of the whole body due to exhaustion.


Invigorate vital energy to activate yang; relieve collapse-syndrome; strengthen body; promote tissue regeneration; promote blood circulation; invigorate spleen energy and improve appetite; invigorate lung energy.


  •       Pigeon 白鴿- one (or chicken)
  •       Red Ginseng 人參- 8gm
  •       Astragalus (huang qi) 黃耆- 40gm
  •       Chinese yam (shan yao) 淮山- 40gm

1.   Wash pigeon, cut into halves, remove skins and obvious fat. Put pigeon in boiling water to cook for a few minutes. Remove and rinse. 
2.   Rinse herbs and put all ingredients in a pot with adequate water (about 8 cups) and bring to boil. Remove foam, reduce heat and simmer for 2 hours with 1 to 2 cups of water left.
3.   Add salt to serve. Eat meat with soup.


Take once a day for 3 days as one course of treatment. Not suitable when having cold or flu.
