Beef and Dang Shen Soup


Lack of energy and qi, pale, profuse perspiration, dizziness and lack of appetite.


Promote energy and improve strength, improve spleen functions and tonify heart.


  • Beef hock - 320gm
  • Dang shen 黨參 - 40gm
  • Astragalus (huang qi) 黃耆- 40gm
  • Chinese yam (shan yao) 淮山 - 40gm
  • Atractylodes (pai chu) 白朮 - 20gm
  • Wheat (fu xiao mai) 浮小麥 - 40gm
  • Processed dates 南棗- 10
  • Ginger - 2 slices

1.     Wash beef, cut into big pieces and cook in boiling water for a few minutes, retrieve and drain.

2.     Rinse other ingredients and put all ingredients in a pot with adequate water (about 3 liters) and bring to a boil. Remove foam, reduce heat to simmer for 3 hours to about 2 cups of soup.

3.     Add salt to serve. Eat some meat with soup.


No restriction. Eat with meal.
