Sea Cucumber and Beanstalk Soup


Yin deficiency with high blood pressure and constipated.


Tonify yin, lowering blood pressure and ease constipation.


  • Sea cucumber 海參 - 60gm
  • Chicken meat - 90gm
  • Chinese ham - 15gm
  • Beanstalk 豆苗- 120gm
  • Chicken broth

1.   Presoak sea cucumber until soft and put in boiling water with ginger and cook for a few minutes. Remove and cut into thin slices.

2.   Wash chicken and ham and cut into thin slices.

3.   Wash beanstalk and keep aside.

4.   Heat chicken broth in a skillet. Add chicken meat, bring to a medium boil and cook for 5 minutes.

5.   Add sea cucumber, ham and bean stalk to cook for 5 minutes.

6.   Add seasoning to serve.


No restriction.


Seacumber and Shrimp Soup

Cook seacumber with water for 1 hour. Add shrimp to cook for 20 minutes more. Add shredded ginger and green onion, and salt to serve.
