Hemlock Parsley & Pig Knuckle


Pale looking and light headed.


Promote blood, treat blood deficiency syndrome in women.


  • Hemlock Parsley (chuan xiong) 川芎 - 15gm
  • Pig knuckle - one
  • Green onion - one (chopped)

1.   Wash pig knuckle and remove bone. Put pig knuckle in boiling water to cook for 5 minutes. Retrieve and rinse.

2.   Put pig knuckle and herb in a soup pot with about 2.5 litres of water. Bring to a boil and lower heat to medium to cook for 1 hour or until the meat is tender.

3.   Add green onion and seasoning (salt and pepper) to serve.

4.   Eat meat with soup.
