Chicken, Lily and Mushroom Soup


Overweight with high blood pressure.


Harmonize blood, improve circulation and regulate blood pressure, calming and improve complexion.


  • Chicken breast - 200gm
  • Dried/fresh lily bulb 百合 - 80gm,
  • Dried/fresh shitake mushroom 冬菇 – 3
  • Wood-ear mushroom 黑木耳 - 40gm,
  • Green onion – one (finely chopped)

1.   Soak mushrooms and lily bulb (if dried ones are used) for one to 2 hours. Remove stem of mushroom and into thin strips.

2.   Wash chicken and cut into thins pieces and season to taste (soy sauce, salt, sugar, cooking wine, starch, sesame oil).

3.   Boil about 2 cups of water in a saucepan and put in lily and mushroom to cook (30 min for dried ones and 10 min for fresh ones). Add chicken to cook for 10 minutes. Add green onion and seasoning to taste and serve with meal.
