Ginger and Sour Mustard Stem Fried Rice

SYMPTOMS:

Drinking too much water and lack of appetite  

THERAPEUTIC EFFECTS:

Promote perspiration and improve appetite.

INGREDIENTS:

  • Rice – one cup
  • Minced ginger – 2 spoons
  • Sour mustard stem  (rinsed and diced) 鹹菜頭 – 2 spoons
  • Egg white – 2
  • Green onion (finely chopped) – 2 spoons

1.   Rinse rice and cook with 80% of a cup of water so that rice is cooked but not too soft.

2.   Heat one spoon of oil in a wok and put in ginger and mustard stem to cook for a couple of minutes. Then add rice and stir for a few minutes.

3.   Sprinkle in a pitch of salt to taste and then add eqq white to mix in well.

4.   Add green onion last, mix in for a minute and is ready to serve.

USAGE:

No limitation.

NOTE:

Sour mustard stem can be purchased or made at home by soaking mustard stem in vinegar and salt and ready in a week (keep in the fridge).
