Gingko, Chrysanthemum and Pear Desert

Moisturize and whiten skin, promote vital fluid, detoxify skin.

INGREDIENTS: (2 servings)

  • Milk - one cup
  • Gingko seed 白果 - 40gm
  • Fresh white chrysanthemum flower 白菊花 -  4
  • Chinese pear 雪梨 – 4
  • Honey

1.   Remove shell and membrane of gingko, cut into halves and remove green or white kernel if any.

2.   Peel and cut pear into slices.

3.   Put gingko and pear in a pot with about 4 cups of water and cook over medium heat for 30 minutes.

4.   Rinse fresh chrysanthemum flowers, remove petals and add to the cooking.

5.   Add milk, bring to slow boil and add honey to serve.
