Taxillus Dang-gui and Egg Tea


SYMPTOMS:

Scanty menstruation.

THERAPEUTIC EFFECTS:

Treat anemia and scanty menstruation by promoting blood, tonify liver and kidneys, expel wind-dampness, improve complexion, also used for calming fetus.

INGREDIENTS:

  • Mistletoe / Ramulus Taxilli (sang ji sheng) 桑寄生 - 25gm
  • Angelica Sinensis Head (dang gui) 當歸頭 - 12gm
  • Egg - one (with shell)

1.   Rinse and cut up herbs into small pieces. Wash egg.

2.   Put them in a pot with 3 cups of water. Cook over medium heat until water is reduced to 1 cup.

3.   Drink tea and eat egg after removing shell.

USAGE:

No limitation. Take once every other day for up to 10 times as one course of treatment. If necessary, take another course of treatment after stopping for 3 days in between.
