Mutton and Goji-berries Soup




Uplift yang energy, restore strength.


  • Mutton 320gm
  • Goji-berries/wolf berries 枸杞子- 40gm
  • Ginger - 3 slices
  • Longan fruit 龍眼肉- 40 gm
  • Citrus peel chen pi) 陳皮 (soaked and scrapped off white tissue) - one piece.

1.   Wash mutton and cut into cubes and put in boiling water to cook for 5 minutes. Remove and rinse.

2.   Soak goji-berries for 15 to 20 minutes and rinse a few times until clean.

3.   Rinse other ingredients and put all in a soup pot with about 3 litres of water. Bring to a boil, remove foam and reduce heat to simmer for 3 hours to about 3 cups of soup (add boiling water to the cooking if necessary).

4.   Add salt to taste and serve.


Not suitable when having flu.
